What Would You Like to Know?

What is the minimum order?

You can purchase any amount of firewood that fits your needs. You can pick up 1/6 of a cord which measures 16"x2'x8', a 1/3 of a cord which measures 16"x4'x8', 1/2 of a cord which measures 4'x4'x4', or cords of wood. One cord measures 4'x4'x8' stacked.

How much does delivery cost?

We offer 10 miles of free delivery with any order between 1-5 cords. After the 10 miles we charge $4 per mile one way. For example, if you live 15 miles away from our woodyard and order between 1-5 cords the first 10 miles would be free and then we would charge you $4 per mile for the 5 miles making your delivery fee $20.The delivery fee is based on miles, so we charge the same weather you get 1 cord or 5 cords.

What types of wood do you sell?

We sell Ponderosa Pine, Lodgepole Pine, Red Fir, and Hardwood.
Ponderosa Pine has a heat output rating of 21.7. It's easy to start and puts off heat quickly, however, it does burn the quickest of all the woods we sell.
Lodgepole Pine has a heat output rating of 22.3. This wood also starts and burns easily but a little on the quicker side. This wood is very clean with thin bark and few knots making it very easy to split.
Red Fir has a heat output rating of 26.5. This wood is easy to start but burns longer than the Ponderosa or Lodgepole Pine. It's denser and heavier as well.
Our hardwood has a heat output rating of 26.8. We mixed locally timbered hardwood trees such as black locust, elm, ash, and sycamore. This wood is the slowest burning of all our wood types. It takes a little more effort to get burning, therefore, we often recommend ordering a soft wood to mix with it.
